Specialist Medical Tattooing & Scar Camouflage
Restoring confidence with precision, compassion, and specialist care.
Some journeys require more than cosmetic expertise; they require specialist care, compassion, and precision. I work with clients who have experienced breast cancer surgery, scarring, burns, and skin trauma, using advanced medical tattooing techniques to restore colour, definition, and confidence. As a registered Bupa provider (and covered by many other insurance companies), I am proud to offer these specialist treatments in a private, supportive environment.
I also carry out complimentary treatments once per month for NHS clients who do not have private medical insurance. If you would like to book a confidential consultation to discuss whether it's the right treatment for you, give me a call on 07855 947239 or complete my contact form here.

This technique is used to recreate the nipple and areola areas following surgery for breast cancer, such as a mastectomy, uplift, or reduction. The treatment is suitable for both women and men alike. By adding lost colour and contouring, we can create a 3D illusion of projection, bringing a sense of normality and helping to restore your confidence after surgery.

MCA skin needling is an advanced, targeted form of scar revision and collagen induction therapy (CIT) using medical-grade tattoo needles. It treats scars, stretch marks, burns, and wrinkles by triggering a natural healing response that flattens raised tissue, fills in sunken areas, and improves skin colour. This is sometimes combined with specialist serums to aid repair.

Scar camouflage tattoos (or medical tattooing) involve tattooing specialised pigments into the scar tissue to match your natural skin tone, reducing the visibility of scars from surgery, burns, or injuries. These long-lasting, paramedical procedures blend scars with the surrounding skin, often requiring 1–3 sessions and lasting between 1–5 years depending on the area and skin type.

Please note: Keloid scars cannot be treated. A keloid scar is an overgrowth of tissue that happens when too much collagen is produced at the site of a wound. The scar keeps growing, even after the wound has healed. Keloid scars are raised above the skin and can be pink, red, the same colour, or darker than surrounding skin.

It is important to note that a scar cannot be totally removed, but with a course of treatments, the colour, look, texture, feel, and overall appearance can all be significantly improved.
Client Review
Incredible Result! Thank you, Helena
I would absolutely, highly recommend Helena to anyone who is considering having a cosmetic or medical tattoo done.
Helena is extremely professional, talented and skilled in her profession. I have recently had a medical tattoo procedure with her and am in awe of the results. I was a bit nervous and apprehensive at first but immediately reassured by Helena’s evident knowledge and experience. She is clearly also, artistically, very astute.
Thank you, Helena. You are amazing.
